Piz Grotesk

Piz Grotesk is a modern reinterpretation of mid-century Swiss typography, designed collaboratively by Silvio Meier and Nando Schmidlin and released by Serpentype in 2024. Inspired by the sharp beauty of glaciers and Alpine geometry, the typeface combines technical precision with distinctive character and is optimized for readability in complex technical applications. The design draws from Switzerland's rich typographic tradition while introducing contemporary sensibilities, making it equally effective for display work, technical documentation, and professional design applications.
